New Rider

What is New Riders?

New Riders teaches participants the skills required to help them become safe and competent cyclists. Using fun games and activities riders will improve their cornering, braking, signalling and much, much more. Riders will leave the course with a new found sense of confidence and enjoyment for riding their bike.

Who is it aimed at?

This course is aimed at those who have just learnt to ride a pedal bike (no stabilizers!) or those who have had a lengthy break from cycling. Our current courses are aimed at children of any age, however we work with adults on a one to one basis and will soon be starting group sessions.

How does it work?

Our courses currently take place on a Saturday morning at Coopers Edge School, Brockworth. The school’s fantastic facilities provide a flat and secure environment. The courses run for a set number of weeks which varies depending on the length of the school terms. We keep the groups small (maximum 10) to ensure each participant receives high quality instruction. The sessions last for 45 minutes. Participants are required to bring their own bike and helmet. To find out when our next set of courses are running please see our calendar.

If you are looking on behalf of a school or another organisation please use the contact page and we can put together a tailored package of sessions to suit your needs.
